Star Trek: Picard (Season 2 Episode 1) features Jean-Luc Picard in the year 2401, as the wine harvesting season ends. It’s roughly September or October of 2401 because wine harvesting in France ends between August and October. Laris and Picard are proud to finish the harvest and bottling of 2401 vintage. This elegant and limited-edition bottle is a replica of the 2401 Chateau Picard used on screen. This 2401 vintage has a full metal label and a silicone rubber topper. An exact replica of the show prop, the metal label has the family mark, “Chateau Picard”, thevarietal and 2401 vintage stamped into the metal. The chateau and vineyard are etched in, just like the bottle Picard holds in his hand. The silicone topper has been vulcanized to remove any impurities and rubber odor. The topper features a removable and reusable silicone topper stamped with "Ven Denge Au Chateau Sol III" We digitally scanned each element of the show prop, to make this is a true show prop replica. Again, like the two other bottles of Chateau Picard series, this limited-edition bottle was a collaboration between the team at Star Trek: Picard (who designed the bottle) and the 5th generation winemakers at the real Chateau Picard in the Saint-Estèphe region in France.
This world-class and highly regarded Cru Bourgeois Bordeaux was imported from the actual Chateau Picard in France. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
